Timber sheoak (she-oak) round which has been set in a resin round. The she-oak piece has been displayed in 'butterfly' format and I've embedded it on a base of burgundy pigmented resin and then amber coloured resin to encase it.
She-oak is native to Australia and is also called casuarina.
