Camphour laurel serving board with parsley artwork sealed in clear resin

Beautiful grain in this amazing piece of camphour laurel timber from western Queensland. I used a process called cyanotype to create the image of the real dried parsley heads on the timber, then drew in the cyanotype image of the parsley with gold leaf and gold pen. The artwork has been sealed with several layers of clear food-safe resin.
The entire board is encased in resin, and the back of the board is plain (no artwork or resin) so you could cut on the back and serve your food using the decorative front of the board.
