Camphour Laurel serving boards made for me by a local Toowoomba woodworker, customised with Lichtenberg fractal wood burning. I have filled the burns with antique copper pigmented resin, so one side has the feature artwork, and the other side is plain.
Once oiled, the beautiful colour of the camphour really came up, it looks almost red and is amazing with the copper!
There are two different boards available, the burn marks are quite different on each board. The first two photos are of the same board. Comes with an elegant cheese knife to make a gift set.
Food-safe resin has been used for these boards.
The camphour laurel timber was sourced from south east Queensland.
